Living Room Transformation
Our living room has gone through some big changes over the last couple months. In this blog post I am going to go over the three major changes.
The first and biggest change to our living room was the addition of the faux stone wall. It is by far my favorite part of the living room makeover. I used plastic faux stone panels I found on amazon and did an over-grout technique to them. The result is a cozy cottage vibe that I absolutely love! You can see the full process of the stone wall on my Instagram page.
The second big change to this space was the new desk area I added against the stone wall. We don’t have a dedicated office space in this house yet and we were in desperate need of a place to work on our computers. I found this minimal wood desk and decided to order two of them and put them side by side under the window. I love that I can still be part of the family and watch TV while getting some work done at the new desks.
The third big change and the one that I feel anchors the whole room is the new TV console table that we built from scratch. I feel like the longer length of it is the perfect scale for our long living room. This piece of furniture was a labor of love that my husband and I worked on for a couple months. If you missed it, checkout this blog post for the details.
We are also loving the Samsung Frame TV that is super thin and has an art display feature when the TV is turned off!
