Skinny Sparkling Sangria

When I think of a sweet and refreshing cocktail,  it’s always sangria that comes to mind. My favorite is a white sparkling sangria with lots of fresh fruits. These sweet cocktails can often be loaded with sugar so I set out to make a lower calorie version that was still delicious!

Here is my Skinny White Sangria Recipe! It may be lower in sugar and calories but you would never know it! I just swapped out the soda and juice for low calorie or zero calorie alternatives. Then, I used fruit that was lower in calories and offered additional health benefits (like higher fiber and antioxidants). 

This recipe is great year around. Try switching out the fruit to satisfy your taste buds! I hope you enjoy this sweet, guilt-free concoction!

Ingredients

  • Half a 2 Liter of Sprite Zero

  • 1 bottle of Moscato, Riesling, or any sweet white wine

  • 1 cup of Light White Grape Juice

  • 1/2 a Green Apple

  • 1 cup of Raspberries

  • 8-10 Strawberries

Optional: 1/2 cup of Vodka (for an extra kick!)

Directions:

  • Wash all fruit

  • Thinly slice strawberries and green apple

  • In a gallon pitcher, combine all liquids

  • Add fruit and stir

Best served chilled or over ice!
